Corps a Corps: An RPG of Fencers in Training
A downloadable game
Corps à Corps is a GM-optional, stat-raising tabletop RPG about fencers in training. Each player portrays a fencer honing body and spirit in pursuit of future triumphs alongside—or against—each other.
By the Sword
Taking its cue from sports drama serials, the game unfolds in a series of scenes depicting training or other bits of daily life in a team. Each scene offers fencers a chance to develop skills or strengthen bonds with each other.
Pret? Allez!
Daily routines are punctuated by climactic matches, in which fencers may face off against rival teams or against each other.
Bouts use a token-based system to determine points, in a simplified simulation of sport fencing.
Modes of Play
The game can be played with or without a GM, in one-shots, short series, or longer runs.

Just played a two-shot of this with the Open Hearth gaming community (where we played young cadets of the King's Musketeers!) - definitely recommended, though I think it need even more sessions than this to fully shine
I absolutely adore this concept (and presentation, and the rules) - as a saber fencer myself, it really lands.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
With a solid core of prompts and scenes to help players simulate a day in the life of a professional duelist, Corps a Corps ramps up wonderfully into emotional and tense battles that resolve into a satisfying climax.
